S Goutamchand, popularly known as SGC at work, is the Founder and heads the Consulting Team at SGC and Co.

The firm has a unique way of going about its work, which are deeply influenced by the relentless, never say “NO”, attitude of  the man himself, SGC which has led to the entire Team at SGC and Co., imbibe and bring about, in its attitude to work and thoughtfulness in representing the clients.

SGC is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), securing 27th Rank all over India in the Final examinations. He is also a graduate in commerce. He has qualified the chartered accountancy in the year 1980-1981 and started the firm back then. He completed his Articles training under the watchful eyes of the stalwarts of the profession, under M/s. Dagliya and Co., Bangalore to whom he humbly dedicates his sheer determination and “Ho Jayega“ mantra.

SGC brings over 38 years of experience to the firm. With a calm business head, he specialises in business advisory services and heads the strategy and business development front of the firm. He possesses a well-earned reputation in statutory representation with regulatory and government departments.

SGC’s systematic approach to work – handling clients to managing working papers and important documents develops a sense of relief to the firm’s clients who count on him to manage not only their finances but and also act as a custodian depository for their  valuable documents.

SGC’s passion to relentlessly work “NON-STOP” 12 hrs a day for all 7 days, all year long has inspired the young blood to work as much if not more than their Principal, who has followed this routine religiously over the last 4 decades.
